The Richmond Fire Department is a volunteer fire department that has a total of Firefighters and EMT's. Volunteers choose if they would like to participate in EMS services, firefighting or both. If you think you would like to become a volunteer or you would like to see what the fire department does we welcome you to come by the fire station on Thursday nights at 7:00pm. We are always looking for a few good, committed people. You are more than welcome to come by the station, attend drills, train with us, and see if the fire service is for you. The department will pay for your training and protective equipment, but does require a commitment.
